1/2″ Grey 260″ x .004″ (1.5g/cm3) High Density Stainless Steel T-Tape

Specialty PTFE thread seal tape is thicker than standard PTFE tape and has a higher density. They are color coded for specific applications. This thread seal tape is for all stainless steel fittings and is thicker with a higher density for coarse stainless steel threads. It has nickel pigment color added and prevents galling, seizing and corrosion. Engineered for all stainless steel fittings to deliver a premium finish that reduces exposure. Also compatible with piping materials including but not limited to, galvanized steel, iron, brass, copper, polyethylene, plypropylene, PVC & CPVC.

■ Thickness: 3.5 – 4.0 MIL (0.0035 – 0.004 inches, 0.0889 – 0.1016 mm)
■ Density: 0.8 – 1.5 g/cm3
■ Elongation: 100% Nominal, Tensile Strength: 1200 PSI min. (8.3 M/mm2)
■ Approvals: UL Listed, OSHA GHS, RoHS Compliance

■ Temperature Range: -450 to 500 °F (-268 to 260 °C)
■ Pressure Rating: 300 PSI minimum, do not exceed the
recommended max pressure rating of the fitting manufacturer.
■ Thickness specification to MIL-T-27730A
■ Length: 260 in (606 m)
■ Chemically inert, non-flammable, and unlimited shelf life (<70 °F
recommended)
■ When storing avoid exteme heat or cold. Store away from UV
exposure and damp conditions.
■ Incompatibility: Avoid using with molten Alkali, certain Halogen
products and Fluorine at high temperatures and pressures.
